Despite all the setbacks and dissapointment
Hey look, I did it
I graduated
With a reasonable GPA
Together with my parents and best friends and boyfriend
What more could I ask for?
I am greatly humbled and thank you so much for being there
It mean so much to me
A note to my past self,
You are amazing
You tried to bring yourself down alot of times
Coz you're scared
But each time, you pulled through
You thought nothing good ever happens to you
You never know what to expect
You never did
There are times where you would just break down and cry
But, honey, just let it be
Those tears made you stronger
You'll find yourself unable to sleep on some nights
You'll have a terrible eyebag in the morning
Sometimes, you'll fall asleep in class
But nobody ever caught you
Coz you're a genius in hiding it
The classes you get,
The friends you meet,
Cherish them
They define who you are
At the end of the tunnel,
There is always a light
Have faith in yourself
