I have already organised my prep wedding book. It's just a book full of receipts and invoices and calculations and things that goes with it. That book is supposed to help me with savings and expenditure. Just to make sure I am on track with payment and spendings.
In short, it is just a book full of numbers and dollar signs. Not my cup of tea.
But anyways, I have also shortlisted my guest list.
It is very essential that you pen down/type out every guest name in a book/paper. This allowed me to look at the names thoroughly and do a finalised decision who I should invite.
Be realistic.
I mean, I don't have to invite friends of friends that I have only met a few times (say less than 5 times?) or primary school friends that I am not even close with but follows them on facebook/twitter/instagram.
This actually helped me to cut down the amount and save the space for more family. As I will be the only one that my parents plan for, I have a feeling they might be inviting the whole gang! Satu kampung.
But eventually if I still have spaces for more guests, I would invite the rest that I opted out. Sounds evil but that helps.

I just started the list following my age
I begin with
- Primary school
- Secondary School
- Poly
- Work (Library, AIC, LV)
- etc etc
I have a pretty straight forward life
But I do know that some people tend to just scribble down their friends name as and when it popped in their heads. I find it very messy and there is a big chance that I will miss out a few names. Judging from my ever forgetful mind.
Anyway, after that I would total up the amount for each set
eg. Primary School (9 guests)
Secondary School (10 guests) etc
Then I would total up the whole damn list
I find myself constantly checking on the list. It is quite easy for me to see who I might forget and I would just add in names and canceling names. Hah. Sorry.
Oh I also scroll through my phone contacts just to ensure. Coz I have almost all my friends number. Not even sure if they're still using it.
So yea. That is all.
